SOSCO is a youth-led Somali organization working nationwide to protect livelihoods, advance education, empower women and youth, and promote peace and human rights.
At SOSCO, we believe lasting change begins at the grassroots. We support vulnerable and marginalized groups by providing protection, livelihood opportunities, and access to education. Our programs empower women and youth, promote peace and tolerance, and safeguard human rights for all.

SOSCO works to expand access to quality education and essential healthcare services, with a focus on marginalized children, women, and vulnerable groups. We believe education builds resilience, while health interventions safeguard dignity and improve quality of life.
Access to clean water and safe sanitation is a basic human right. SOSCO provides safe drinking water, builds sanitation facilities, and promotes hygiene awareness to prevent disease and improve community well-being.
We support families and communities in building sustainable livelihoods and food systems. Through vocational training, small business support, and agricultural initiatives, we strengthen resilience and reduce poverty and hunger.
Climate change poses one of the greatest threats to Somalia’s future. SOSCO promotes environmental conservation, climate adaptation, and community awareness to protect natural resources and mitigate climate-related risks.
Lasting peace requires dialogue, tolerance, and reconciliation. SOSCO engages communities, especially youth, in peacebuilding initiatives to reduce conflict, promote understanding, and strengthen social cohesion.
Our focus is to build momentum for social, economic and environmental justice, driven by people living in poverty and exclusion within and beyond Somalia. In practice, this means working closely with people living in poverty and exclusion, civil society organizations, social movements and grass root supporters
